Leyendo 22/11/63, de Stephen King, creo que no puedo dejar de compartir algunas de las novelas de este gran escritor. En primer lugar, porque como amante del género, considero que es posiblemente el que mejor saber transmitir terror sin olvidar la literatura. Otros autores de este género pueden enganchar por las historias pero Stephen King, además, sabe contarlas. No recuerdo cual fue la primera novela que leí del Sr. King, pero, sin duda, la que más me ha impactado (y que suelo releer algún verano que otro), fue IT. Por un lado, a los que nos gusta pasar miedo no va a decepcionarnos, todo lo contrario y, por otro lado, podemos volver a esos veranos donde la amistad era el único mundo que importaba. Al leerla es imposible no enamorarse de sus protagonistas, y al terminarla siempre los echarás de menos. Seguro que Alberto Marcos y Despoina Feleki comparten esta opinión.

Reading 11/22/63, by Stephen King, I feel obliged to share with you some of the novels of this great writer. Firstly, because as a fan of the genre, I think King knows how to scare us  without forgetting about literature. Some writers of horror stories attract us with their plots, but Mr. King knows also how to write them. I can't remember which of his books was the first I read but I have no doubts about the most stunning, IT. It really frightens you and, at the same time, takes you back to those summer when friendship was the only important thing. When you are reading it, you can't help falling in love with the main characters and once you have finished the book, you start missing them. I'm sure Alberto Marcos and Despoina Feleki will share this feeling.

Una promesa hecha 28 años atras, reúne a cinco adultos en Derry, Maine, donde, cuando eran solo unos adolescentes, tuvieron que luchar con el terrible ser que asesinaba niños. A promise made twenty-eight years ago calls seven adults to reunite in Derry, Maine, where as teenagers they battled an evil creature that preyed on the city's children. Unsure that their Losers Club had vanquished the creature all those years ago, the seven had vowed to return to Derry if IT should ever reappear. Now, children are being murdered again and their repressed memories of that summer return as they prepare to do battle with the monster lurking in Derry's sewers once more.
