La primera nevada en la ciudad siempre sorprende por hermosa y, sobre todo, porque el mundo se vuelve tan silencioso que parece que todo es y seguirá siendo perfecto. Sin embargo, no creo que seamos capaces de entender por completo lo que la nieve significa, no como en otros lugares donde parece perenne y donde la conocen con cientos de nombres diferentes. Lugares donde forma parte tan importante de la vida de sus habitantes que no entenderían su existencia ni sus orígenes sin ella. Gracias a Anna Schwensen por descubrirme este libro.
The first snow over the city always suprises us because the world becomes so silent that everything seems to be perfect. However, I don't think we are able to completely understand what snow means. At least, not as in other places where snow seems to be perennial and it is known by hundreds of different names.
