FIESTA/PARTY

Macrofiestas, botellones, nocheviejas universitarias, todas opciones de ocio para los más jóvenes. Los que ya pasamos aquellos dorados años podemos decir "si nosotros hacíamos lo mismo" y quedarnos tan tranquilos. Pero la experiencia, por no decir la cruel verdad, la de la edad que se nos echa encima, podría bastarnos para, al menos, reflexionar, porque parece que todo es válido si antes lo hemos probado nosotros y hemos logrado sobrevivir. Habría que pensar si aquellas fiestas y éstas son la única forma de divertirse, si beber sin control es la única manera de integrarse en un grupo. Si es así, que lo parece, posiblemente tengamos que devanarnos los sesos para ofrecer otras posibilidades y, desde la educación, intentar formar personas que puedan llegar a ser mejores que nosotros mismos.

Macroparties, street drinking, university New Year's Eve are all ways of entretaining young people. All of us that left behind those golden years, could say "we did the same" and then feel better. But experience, or just ageging, could help us to reflect. Now it seems that everything we previously experienced and survived is valid. We should think if those and these parties are the only way to get fun, if drinking without control is the only way to feel integrated into a group. If so, as it seems to happen, we must think it over to offer new possibilities and use Education to find new ways of entretainment in order to educate people who can be better than us in the future.

Narrada en primera persona por Carlos, un muchacho que intenta eliminar de su vida los sentimientos y los escrúpulos, la novela nos introduce en un mundo de violencia y obsesiones.
